So,our year started. We have friends who live in Italia and they/she comes home once a year over Christmas. We always make an effort to get together and go out,so this time was no different.
We went to Cape Town for the weekend for the main reason of having a night out with friends,and a nite out it was!
So we were 5 ladies,2 guys. Stuffing all 5 ladies into the smallest car available,while the 2 guys take the bigger one. Almost reaching V&A Waterfront,we have a tyre burst ON THE N2!Mark and Jeremy jumping out of the other car to assist,leaving doors open and lights on. Discovering that they cant remove the wherl brcause of a missing nut thing on the mags (i hatr mags). Now we just have to move the car to the cost garage to look into it further. Jeremy get into the small car with Shelley,the rest of us with Mark. Ready to go...NOT!!!
Our car dont want to start,because everything was left on while we were standing next to the road. Everybody out again for a push ON THE N2!
Now a side note. While all this is happening,we are very jolly,laughing,joking,taking pix and vids of all this excitement.
Getting to the Caltex Waterfront Garage,we set up camp in front of the fresh stop. Claire walking around asking people for a flat screw driver,Mark and Jeremy hammering away trying to fix the situation. Shelley going crazy dancing and singing. The rest of us just waiting. There we were for 3 hours. The insurance wont help,Shelley only has a credit card,we are hungry! End of it all a tow truck was called to come pick the car up while Mark ,Claire and I go and look for food @ 23h40!
Well Sunday we were treated yo liunch by Claires father with the family. Ending the weekend perfectly.

2 catch a up...
If you have read my previous blog,you would know my story. The reason I'm not going into it,is because this is not going to be about the previous stories.
Let's do a little ketchup (get it?). Struggling with infertility on both sides,being denied to adopt (2 mention the most importantê ones) has left us tired. Emotionaly,physicaly and mentally. We made the decision to take a break from "baby" for 2014. A complete one. No talking,trying,crying,wishing,nothing to do with the topic. We'll always be praying though.
So leets start wit NYE,there's a knock at the door. A lady is there asking for me. We dont know each other,has neva seen each other before,eva. She says she has a message for me. She had a dream and God showed me to her and gave her a message to deliver to me. "HE DID NOT GIVE THE ANSWER YET" ,also to read Proverbs 16. She left without giving her name or anything. Now the scripture reads about us making plans,but god has the final say. It reads about us living right to reap the fruits. It made an impact,telling us that we were right in giving our situation to God and letting go of it. Evening comes and we go to the NYE service,ringing in the new year right. What do u know,same message,different delivery. This is a message that clearly was meant to reach us. With that we left it all in 2013,hello 2014!
To get to the point,we will be living this year! We will be doing everything we have neglected the past 6 years. This is what this new blog will be about,US,LIVING,LOVING AND PRAYING. Next time i will tell about our disastrous first outing for 2014.
